Where to Start
- It's best to begin with things that can't be moved and measure your kitchen, bath, closet, etc. as-is. It's easier than ever to take pictures, so snap a few shots to give us a great idea of where we'll be starting.
- Visit Our Showroom! Call Kristina and set up an appointment to check out the array of concepts and products we have to really get your imagination going! We'll look at your measurements and determine what type of designs are feasible in your space and go over options that meet your ideals. You can then select the door style, cabinet finish, countertop material, hardware, etc. We're eager to help and answer any questions you may have.
- At this stage, we'll come to your home and take precise measurements. KCW can help you think through the essentials and how you really live. How many people will be using this space day-to-day? On Holidays? Any specific age-related needs for children, etc.? What special interests or issues do you have such as storage, cooking, laundry, and more? It's a great time to establish a 'must-have list', and a 'oh-how lovely-to have list'. You will then see your beautiful layout and pricing completed within one to two weeks, depending upon the complexity of your design project.
- Now- it is an excellent time for a second showroom visit! We'll review your pricing and layout, along with any paint and wallpaper samples, furniture photos and fabric swatches you might wish to bring along to best match to your cabinets and countertops.
- Upon signature the contract and arrival of your deposit, cabinet delivery time can range from three to eight weeks. We will keep you updated and call to schedule the installation date. For a smooth and quick turnaround with minimal household turmoil, we are pleased to coordinate with other trades such as electrical, plumbing, builders etc.
- After all of your cabinets have been installed, the time is here for a countertop template. Turnaround time for countertop installation can be anywhere from one to four weeks, depending on your countertop material, As you will not have running water during this time, your plumber can hook up a temporary sink. In our experience- it is well worth it! And as soon as your countertops are installed, you will be able to schedule proper plumbing be connected.
- Remember- we've done this for quite some time now. We KNOW there will ALWAYS be tons of questions – so please know that this is what we're here for! We love helping you every step of the way.
